Make sure to match up your H/P needed otherwise installing a lower H/P motor will cause it to overheat and not work properly. The motor comes with a single run capacitor. It is recommended to replace the capacitor when installing the new motor.

Always check your capacitor first.

• A bad capacitor can cause symptoms similar to a bad motor. If the capacitor is bad it will send the wrong voltage to the motor. This can possibly cause it to overheat not start or run slowly.

Match up the Voltage and Phase this way:

• The number listed beside “PH” on the label should match the Phase on the motor. The Voltage is typically the same as most HVAC units run on 208/230 Voltage.
