So we capture it filter it three times to remove the bits of meat that can spoil add a small amount of BHA — an antioxidant that helps protect the flavor and then package it as Bacon Up. Bacon Up should be stored at a temperature below 80°F. Although not required it may be refrigerated if you prefer a firmer consistency.

The bacon may have been cured with other ingredients including possibly salt sea salt sugar brown sugar smoke flavor etc. — but no reportable amount of any of these cures transfer to the fat. The approved Nutrition Facts panel lists 0 grams per serving of Total Carbohydrates Total Sugars and Sodium.
